Hardscaping is one of our favorite parts of landscaping design. Whether you're talking about stone pavers, a unique wooden pergola, custom tile surrounding a pool, a stone patio or an elegant natural stone waterscape, all of these are what we call hardscaping. These are some of the most exciting projects to work on because they often serve as the framework on which the rest of your outdoor living space is built. It might be stone pavers forming a garden pathway which determines where your flower beds will be laid, or the natural stone steps leading up to your pool or hot tub, the patio around the pool or the deck extending out above your gardens, all of these are hardscaping projects which can shape and guide future projects. Good hardscape design requires expertise in water drainage, long- term durability of the materials and product, and considerations for the aesthetics unique to your property and vision.
